There are 2 important key measures to respect on site at all times: social distancing and hand washing. We cannot accept anyone having covid19 symptoms. We have increased our cleaning procedures. But despite those measures and efforts, we cannot guarantee you that you will never have virus on site, so we recommend you not to come to the retreat if your health is at risk.

Our rental rates vary seasonally . Summer (June 18th -September ) Fall (October 1-December ) Winter (Jan- March) Spring (April-June 18th)

We have 14 retreats and all the rates in each retreat vary due to size and amenities that we offer.

Rates are on our availability calendar and rates can be seen at check out or the booking form. The rates cannot be negotiated.

If you don’t see the retreat pop up with rates , it means that the retreat is booked for those dates.

A full refund will be issued for cancellations requested at least 6 months prior to your scheduled check in date. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations requested less than 6 months and up to 30 days before your scheduled check-in date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations requested within 30 days of your scheduled check in date.

The cleaning fee is applied for every booking and is a flat rate for your entire stay.

Yes Tax/Hst is applicable to all our retreats.

Tiny oceanfront retreat is the 1 bedroom and can sleep 2 adults and 2 small kids comfortably.

Designer oceanfront villa is an open concept loft style retreat . This retreat can sleep 6 . 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably.

Cosy oceanfront cottage is a two bedroom full size cottage . This retreat can sleep 6 adults . 4 adults and 2 young children or adults.

Sidanna oceanfront retreat can sleep 8 adults comfortably , and upto 12 people including kids. We have a separate website for this private retreat https://www.sidannaoceanfrontretreat.com/ . Tranquil Seaside Getaway, located in Clam Harbour, on Nova Scotia's rugged Eastern Shore is a 4 bedroom house which can sleep up to 8 adults.

Tiny oceanfront retreat and designer oceanfront villa can be booked together . Both these retreats now have a private hot tub and sauna each. There is partition fence with a door in between both units.

Our retreats located in south shore and eastern shore are oceanfront.

Our retreat in Cape Breton is beachfront.

The availability you see on our website, is what we have available to book. The desktop version of our site allows you to search availability for each retreat, however, the mobile version of our site only allow shows available retreats for your selected dates. Our booking calendar is open all year round.

Although we do take bookings over messenger/phone, we prefer if bookings are directly made through the online portal as you must accept our reservation policy and cancellation policy and waiver online to complete your reservation.

Yes, any days or time slots that cannot be selected means we are fully booked. We thank you for your patience as we adjust to popularity.

We need a 48 hour notice to book any of these services. these include grocery delivery, chef prepared meals, excursions and packages for special days like anniversaries, birthdays and engagements.

We take credit cards , paypal and e-transfer. We do not accept cash or cheque.

It is mandatory to fill out our Credit Card form.

Yes. We apologise for the inconvenience but our retreat books extremely fast on weekend!

We provide all linens , amenities and condiments . We always recommend , our guests to bring extra towels .

Due to allergies and concerns with our guests we cannot allow pets. We will be adding pet friendly

locations in the near future . Stay tuned!

We have a two night minimum policy in our retreats and only allow 1 night bookings on gap nights only . In this case you will need to contact us at sidannaretreat@gmail.com and we will manually enter your booking. We have a 4 night minimum during the summer

We are not a hotel, we are a retreat. We encourage our guests to enjoy and experience their vacation and or stay cation. We want our guests to relax and unwind .

Yes all our retreats have a private hot tub, sauna and fire pit. Dreamy ocean escape will be getting one Sept 1 , 2024

All of our retreats have private hot tubs except Designer Villa and Tiny Retreat share a large deck and hot tub.

Yes we are open all year , We can reschedule your booking in the case of bad weather. (Snow storm or very high winds and hurricanes) but no refund can be applied.

Yes, all guests must be 18 and over . All young children and teens can stay at our retreat accompanied with a guardian of course!

6 of our retreats are located in Hunts point and Summerville Centre .This is in the South shore of Nova scotia .Those retreats are Relaxing Oceanfront Retreat, Peaceful Oceanfront Cabin, Comfy Seaside Cabin, Designer Oceanfront Villa, Tiny Oceanfront Retreat and Cozy Oceanfront Cottage. We are able to host events of up to 5o guests and can offer catering, decorations and all of the equipment required to make your special event one to remember. We can also accommodate up to 30 adults in our private oceanfront rental units. Our venue is the perfect choice for small weddings, birthdays, anniversaries or corporate retreats.
