  • Each retreat has its own unique pricing, which varies by property, season, and amenities offered. Current rates are always displayed on the property pages and can be viewed during the booking process or at checkout. All rates are fixed and non-negotiable and vary by season.

  • A full refund will be issued for cancellations made at least six months prior to your scheduled check-in date. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made less than six months but more than 30 days before your scheduled check-in date. Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable.

  • Yes. A flat cleaning fee is applied to every booking and covers your entire stay.

  • Yes. Applicable HST is added to all bookings.

  • All of our properties are either oceanfront or beachfront. Specific details about each location, including direct beach access, can be found on the individual property pages.

  • While we can assist with bookings over the phone or via messenger, we prefer that all reservations be completed through our online booking portal. This ensures you are able to review and accept our reservation policy, cancellation policy, and waiver as part of the booking process.

     

    If you are experiencing any difficulty completing your reservation online, please feel free to call the phone number listed in our website footer and we’ll be happy to assist you.

  • Yes. Any dates that cannot be selected are fully booked. Dates that are unavailable for check-in will appear greyed out on the calendar.

  • Select retreats offer chef-prepared meals and curated add-on services. Availability varies by location and region. Please visit the Services section of our website or review the add-ons available during the booking process for your specific retreat. We kindly request at least 72 hours notice for meal bookings.

  • Yes. All of our retreats offer curated add-ons that can be selected during the booking process, including chef-prepared meals, grocery delivery, massage and special occasion packages.

     

    Sidanna Retreat also provides personalized concierge services. Through our trusted relationships with exceptional local providers across Nova Scotia, we can assist with arranging excursions, dining reservations, spa services, outdoor adventures, and custom experiences to help you make the most of your stay.
    We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice for most services, though availability may vary by location and provider.

  • We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and e-transfer. Cash and cheques are not accepted. A completed credit card authorization form is required for all bookings.

  • We provide all linens, essential amenities, and basic condiments for your stay. We recommend bringing extra towels, bug spray, and sunscreen for added comfort.

     

    If you’re planning to visit the beach, beach towels are provided; however, we do not supply beach chairs, shovels, or buckets.

  • At this time, pets are not permitted due to allergy considerations and guest comfort. We hope to introduce pet-friendly locations in the future — please stay tuned for updates.

  • Our retreats require a two-night minimum stay. 


    Occasionally, we may allow a one-night booking on a gap night. A gap night is a single available date that falls directly between two existing bookings. 

  • Yes. Gift cards can be purchased directly on our website through the Gift Card page. All gift card purchases are securely processed and authorized through Stripe.

  • Yes. With the exception of Romantic (no sauna) of our retreats feature a private hot tub, sauna, and fire pit for guests to enjoy. (Please refer to the individual property page for any location-specific updates or enhancements.)

  • All of our retreats feature private hot tubs. Tiny Oceanfront Retreat and Designer Oceanfront Villa share a large deck and hot tub when booked separately. Mystical has a private pool that is operated year-round. Relaxing has a private heated pool that is operated seasonally. Select properties may also feature private pools — please refer to the individual property page for specific amenities.

  • Yes, our retreats are open year-round. In the event of severe weather, such as snowstorms, high winds, or hurricanes, we may reschedule your booking; however, refunds are not provided.

  • Yes. The primary booking guest must be 18 years of age or older. Children and teens are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Our retreats are located across Nova Scotia’s South Shore, North Shore, Eastern Shore, and Cape Breton regions. Each property page includes detailed information about its exact location to help you choose the retreat that best suits your stay.

  • Yes. Our oceanfront venue features a 3,000-square-foot deck overlooking the water, complete with a heated pool and hot tub, and can accommodate events of up to 50 guests. We offer support with catering, décor, and event equipment to help create a seamless and memorable experience.

    We can also accommodate up to 30 adults across our private oceanfront retreat units, making this an ideal setting for intimate weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate retreats.

  • Yes. Firewood and kindling are provided for your convenience. Guests are required to follow all local burn regulations and safety guidelines. We recommend checking current burn restrictions prior to use.
