Meet Our Chefs
Alex and Mae are a husband-and-wife culinary team offering artfully-designed private dining experiences rooted in craftsmanship, seasonality, and refined technique. Both are graduates of the Culinary Arts program at Nova Scotia Community College (Class of 2019), where their shared dedication to the culinary arts first brought them together.
With a combined 18 years of professional kitchen experience, they have honed their skills across both fine dining and elevated casual cuisine, developing a style that is polished yet deeply inviting. Alex’s culinary vision emphasize bold, balanced flavours and impeccable execution. Mae specializes in pastry arts, bringing precision, artistry, and restraint to her desserts. Her work focuses on handcrafted pastries and elegant finishes that provide a thoughtful and memorable conclusion to each dining experience. Together, Alex and Mae have been featured on both Food Network Canada and Eastlink TV and have been nominated for two culinary awards.
